We are an international group of scientists, conservationists, and concerned citizens working together to protect the fragile and endangered ecosystem of the Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia.

Many of us work with the Gelada Project, an organization based at the University of Michigan, Stony Brook University, and the University of Washington. The Gelada Project has been studying the SMNP geladas for over a decade (see more about our project here).

Other members work for the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority or in ecotourism in Ethiopia.
